Senior Computer Technician / Workshop Manager – Haywards Heath

Salary: £21,600–£27,000 per annum + performance-related commission

Working pattern: Four or five days per week, Monday to Friday.

Laptop Workshop has provided trusted computer, laptop, Apple device, phone and tablet repairs across Sussex since 2006. We're looking for an experienced technician to manage our Haywards Heath store, delivering excellent repairs and customer service with support from our Worthing team.

Working hours and salary

• Four days: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday (Wednesday off) – £21,600 per annum + commission.
• Five days: Monday to Friday – £27,000 per annum + commission.

Performance-related commission is based on store profitability.

The role

• Diagnose and repair Windows PCs, laptops, Apple Macs, phones and tablets.
• Manage customer bookings, quotations, parts ordering and repair workflow.
• Carry out upgrades, software troubleshooting and data recovery.
• Provide friendly, professional advice and sell computers, accessories and services.
• Run the store independently and maintain high standards of workmanship and customer care.

About you

• Ideally five years' experience in computer repairs, electronics servicing or a technical retail environment.
• Strong Windows, macOS and hardware diagnostic skills.
• Confident working independently, organising repairs and dealing with customers.
• Reliable, self-motivated and commercially aware.

Experience with mobile devices and component-level repairs is advantageous.
